Trump’s unfortunate racism
It was no surprise that President Donald Trump would fire a racist tweets against four U.S. Congresswomen of color. From Birtherism to racist tweets, it is Trump as usual. Donald Trump got elected by appealing to white nationalists, and he will continue to do so to get reelected again in 2020.
The president’s remark against the four congresswomen are reprehensible, telling them that “they should go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.”
The sad fact that this President would send a racist tweet is not surprising. He has had a history of racism from the day he declared his candidacy for the White House when he attached Mexicans. Then, he has not stopped firing racist tweets and comments ever against former President Obama and the list goes on. Click here for more ….
What is really puzzling is that a good number of Americans, journalists and leaders in this country did not condemn his remarks, especially the Republican, conservative and religious leaders.
We regret such behavior from the president and we call on national leaders to reject racism regardless of their party affliction or color. We all want to see America great regardless of color, race, place of origin, religious affiliation, gender, sexual orientation or any other labels that deem to be offensive to a normal human being.
