Republicans vote to start repealing Obamacare
After months of failing to gather enough support to kill the Obama Care and replacing with a different plan that would punish the poor, the old and the physically challenged, the Republican-led Congress brought Sen. John McCain from his hospital bed to approve a measure that would begin the process of repealing Obama Care.
All democrats and two republicans voted against the bill, but Vice President Pence cast the tie vote to approve the measure.
Republicans have been talking about cutting Medicaid and instituting a health care bill that would leave millions uninsured.
The current Obama Care is not a perfect system, but the Republican have failed to provide a better alternative so far, other than their agreement to remove the Obamacare. Now that Congress has voted to repeal the current health care law, we hope they would come with a better plan.
