President Trump to go after terrorists in Afghanistan

In a televised address Monday, President Donald Trump vows to go after terrorists in Afghanistan but said that he would not engage in nation-building.

The new strategy is a departure from his promise to leave the war-torn country and fold that chapter of America’s involvement in Afghanistan.

The president did not provide any details on how he is going to do it nor the number of troops involved. Afghanistan has been a thorn in America’s side ever since the former Soviet Union left that country. Today, the country includes various terrorist organizations. Click here for more ….
