Your personal data and the Equifax breach
By now, we know that the personal information of most Americans have been stollen from Equifax, and we are not sure what price to pay for that in the future.
First, Equifax tried to force people into arbitration, but it later removed that close from its site.
But before agreeing to anything, make sure you get educated on your legal rights because eventually, this could become an important issue.
Second, what is the government doing to ensure that our data is secured. I did not give Equifax my personal information; they chose to collected and they should have done more to protect it. Equifax is one of three companies that collects personal data for credit reporting.
Third, does our social security needs to be there all of the time. Why can these companies find a different way of providing information instead of using social security.
