Crisp salad with beets
I like beets. I like the dark red color of the roots and I like the green leaves when they are young and tender. And when I see them at the store or the farmers market, I don’t hesitate. I buy them and make a green salad with them. I chop the leaves and slightly boil the roots, adding tomatoes, other fruits and vegetables, especially apples and berries to give it more taste. I saw this recipe on television, and it looks delicious. Â They used tangerine sauce with olive oil, garlic and salt and pepper. They sprinkled crushed walnuts and served with fresh goat cheese. It is a dish that can be a main meal if you add fish, meat or chicken to it.
You can make it any way you like by adding any amount you deisre. Enjoy
